 As an addition to the Oakley Latch family, Oakley Latch Beta OO9436 sunglasses are crafted with the same handy kick-up latch feature that the collection is renowned for. Made to clip onto your shirt for easy storage, Oakley Latch Beta sunglasses are bold in shape with double-bridge architecture. Crafted from lightweight and durable O Matter, this expansion of the popular frame family features high density Unobtanium temples which increase grip with perspiration, along with silicone nosepads to provide comfort and allow for adjustability. Three Point Fit technology is incorporated to provide further comfort alongside performance, as well as eliminating pressure points that can be common with conventional sunglasses. Suitable for medium to large faces, Oakley Latch Beta OO9436 sunglasses provide a variety of lens options for every type of wearer. Choose from enhanced colour, contrast and detail of Prizm lenses, minimising glare technology of HDPolarised or glare reduction and tuned light transmission of Iridium coating. Each lens is crafted from Plutonite, which filters 100% UVA, UVB, UVC up to 400nm, and some harmful blue light. Not only that, but HDO Optics ensures crystal clear vision and impact resistance that meets or exceeds ANSI Z80.3 optical and impact standards.

When you have your eyes tested your optician is required by law to supply you with a written copy of your prescription. Generally written prescriptions follow a specific format which may look similar to the following example


You can see that the prescription has a right (R) and left eye (L) which is then broken down into Sph, Cyl and Axis sections with values written in the relevant boxes. There is also a 'Near Add' part which is sometimes referred to as the Add' or 'Addition. The value should always be the same for both your right eye and left eye and you need to enter this value if you would like reading glasses.

When you have chosen a pair of glasses simply select the correct values for each of the boxes paying particular attention to the + (plus) and (minus) fields. This is very important. If you enter -3.00 and your prescription is +3.00 your lenses will be incorrect. We check each prescription carefully for any obvious mistakes and may occasionally contact you to verify the details, however, we cannot take any responsibility for information that has been entered incorrectly.

When ordering your glasses from us your prescription must be less than two years old. Regular eye examinations are recommended not only to ensure your glasses are accurate and providing the best possible vision but also as an important part of your regular health care.
