Delivery Policy

UK

ORDERS UNDER £75.00

Any order placed within the UK will be shipped free of charge using our Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service.

We ask that you allow 3-4 working days to receive your Royal Mail Recorded delivery parcel. However, in the unlikely occasion that your item does not get delivered within this timescale, your item cannot be considered lost by Glasses Station until 15 working days has passed.

If you do not wish to use our standard service for your order under £75 and would like to upgrade your delivery, the following options are available:

Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour delivery

This service requires a cost of £4.00. When you place your order before 5.15pm, Royal Mail will aim to deliver your parcel within 24 hours from the time of dispatch.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hour delivery

This service requires a cost of 2.00 and advises a delivery timescale of 48 hours. To take advantage of this delivery service please place your order before 5.15pm.

Express Courier Service

This service requires a cost of £6.00 and offers next working day delivery before 6pm. Orders must be made before 6pm in order to receive this delivery timescale.

The express courier service will also send you a text alert which gives you the option to choose a delivery window. Please do not use this service is you are outside mainland UK or have a BFPO or PO Box address, as this service does not deliver here. If you do choose this method and your address cannot be serviced by the manufacturer, Glasses Station reserves the right to modify the delivery method.

Special Delivery

This service requires a cost of £5.00. Our special delivery service advises delivery the next working day before 1pm when you place your order before 5pm. Often this service does delivery on Saturdays, however this is not guaranteed.

Royal Mail Next Day

This service requires a cost of £16.00. Royal Mail Next Day delivery guarantees delivery the next working day before 9am, providing your order is placed before 5.15pm.

Saturday Delivery – On Fridays only

This service requires a cost of £7.50. When you order before 5.30pm on a Friday, this service will deliver on Saturday.

ORDERS OVER £75.00

Glasses Station dispatches any order over £75.00 on a next working day service free of charge. The default service used for this is Royal Mail Tracked 24 Hour delivery. This service 98% guarantees to deliver the next working day before 6pm, from the date of dispatch. To receive this next working day service, orders must be placed before 5.30pm.

If you do not wish to use this standard service and would like to upgrade your delivery. The following options are available:

Express Courier

This service requires a cost of £4.00 and aims to deliver the next working day before 6pm when ordered before 6pm.

The express courier service will also send you a text alert which will include the option to choose a delivery time window.

Please do not opt for this service if your shipping address is outside mainland UK or if the address is a BFPO or PO Box address, as this service will not make delivery.

If you do choose this method and your address cannot be serviced by the courier, Glasses Station reserve the right to alter the delivery method.

Special Delivery

This service requires a cost of £5.00. Our Royal Mail special delivery service guarantees delivery the next working day before 1pm. In some cases Royal Mail will also deliver on Saturdays, however this is not guaranteed. Orders must be placed before 5.30pm.

Royal Mail Next Day

This service requires a cost of £16.00 and guarantees delivery the next working day before 9am, providing your order is placed before 5.15pm.

Saturday Delivery

This service requires a cost of £8.00 and is applicable to orders placed on Friday only. Orders must be placed before 5.30pm to receive on Saturday.

Worldwide Standard Delivery

For orders over £85, Royal Mail International Delivery is free of charge.

For orders under £85 there is a £10 charge.

Upon dispatch, you will receive an email containing the tracking code for your parcel. All worldwide standard delivery parcels are dispatched via our Royal Mail International Delivery service which fully insures your parcel.

Royal Mail advise to allow 7-10 working days from the date of dispatch for your parcel to arrive. However, in the unlikely occasion that your parcel is not delivered within this time period, Glasses Station cannot consider the item lost until 35 working days have passed.

Your parcel will be delivered and handled by your local delivery service after it leaves the UK. You can find out who your local delivery service is by going to the link below, clicking the name of your country and providing your tracking code.

Worldwide Expedited Delivery

£20 per order is charged should you wish to upgrade your shipping to expedited. All expedited delivery parcels are dispatched via DPD Local who will send you an email containing a tracking code for your parcel upon dispatch.

DPD Local advise 4-7 working days from the date of dispatch for delivery. If your parcel is not delivered within 4-7 working days, please allow up to 10 working days, as your item will not be considered as lost until then.

Important Information

Once the parcel reaches your country, Glasses Station cannot be liable for any customs charges that may have occurred. Customs policies change frequently and Glasses Station has no control over these charges. Any customs charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Should you have any customs related queries, we advise that you contact your local customs office.

When your parcel is delivered a signature will always be requested. If you are not in when your parcel is delivered, the driver will attempt to leave your parcel in a safe place where it is out of sight and protected from elements. However in the event that a safe place cannot be located, the delivery driver will leave a card with instructions on how to organise a collection or redelivery of your order.
